Schedule repairs (which are different from schedule changes) will be allowed at counselor tables during check-in.
Schedule repairs include, but may not be limited to the following:
Student doesn’t have a class they need to graduate or be on track to graduate
Student took a summer school class and needs to get the duplicate course off their schedule
A ninth grader has an off period, which we don’t encourage, and needs to have a full course load
Students only have 2 classes on their schedule and are therefore not full time
All other changes will be directed to add/drop on Friday August 18th.
Add/Drop form requests can be picked up at the counseling station at check in and in the North wing at the start of school.
And Friday, August 18th is our Add/Drop process followed by a regular bell schedule.
- Add/drop is our process for students to change a class to a different period, switch an off period, and drop a class in addition to other potential changes.
- We prefer that students keep their schedules as created because we plan our staffing based on their choices, however, we understand that things change.
- Students will be asked to add a class before they drop one in case there isn’t room to get into what they want to add.
- We have so many classes, teachers and other variables to consider that we may not be able to make every change that is requested, so I ask that you give us grace and understanding.
The deadline for changes will be Tuesday, August 22nd by the end of the school day.
The special schedule for next week can be viewed on our main page soon!
