Students who attend Fossil Ridge, Timnath, or Wellington High Schools will play for the Fossil Ridge Boys Volleyball Team. Please contact Coach Switala ( bswitala@psdschools.org ) if you will be playing for the Fossil Team.
Students who attend Rocky Mountain, Ft. Collins, or Poudre High Schools will play for the Poudre Boys Volleyball Team. Please contact Coach Rens ( trens@psdschools.org ) if you will be playing for the Poudre Team.
Boys Volleyball Season: Monday, February 17th – Saturday, May 10th
Registration for Boys Volleyball:
Registration for Spring Sports opens on Monday, Jan 27th. Please follow these instructions. Please click on the link to go to the PSD HS Athletics Website. This site has all the information you need to register for the boys volleyball team. Please click on the tab on the right side that reads “Athletics Registration 2024-25” for your home High School. Once the online registration is complete and the PSD Athletics Registration fee is paid ($205 which can be reduced if a Financial Hardship exists), please see your HS’s Athletics Secretary to receive your “Orange Eligibility Card” or “Gold Card” at Timnath. Give your Orange/Gold Card to Coach Switala to be permitted to Tryout.

Scroll down and click on the tab on the right side that reads “Register: Fossil Ridge Athletics Registration 2024-25” even if you do NOT ATTEND Fossil Ridge HS.
Complete the online registration and pay the PSD Athletics Registration fee ($205 which can be reduced if a Financial Hardship exists).
CHSAA has a new Physical Form for this year. It is 4 pages long. You fill out Pages 1 & 2. Your Doctor’s Office fills out most of Pages 3 & 4. If you had your Yearly Well-Check (physical) since May of 2024, then just take the CHSAA form to your doctor’s and ask them to fill out Pages 3 & 4. If you had a Yearly Well-check prior to May 2024, you would need a new one to be eligible for the season.
Once this is all complete, please see YOUR High School’s Athletics Secretary to receive your “Orange Eligibility Card” (Timnath’s are Yellow).
Give your Orange/Yellow Card to Coach Switala to be permitted to Tryout.

Wed, Feb 19th from 7:00 - 8:30 AM (FR Main & Aux Gyms)
Last Open Gym Opportunity at Fossil Ridge High School Auxiliary Gym for any PSD student regardless of which team you will play for in the Spring are from Noon – 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 15th.
