| Will there be a graduation rehearsal? | Yes. Thursday May 20 – time/location TBD. Attendance is mandatory for all graduates wishing to participate in the graduation ceremony. |
| Will PSD provide a link to watch the graduation ceremony live? | Yes. English and Spanish versions will be available. |
| Is PSD using other social media to support the event? | Yes. Graduates are encouraged to take pictures throughout the day, post them and use #PSDProud. Random posts will be shown on the large screens throughout the ceremony. |
| Is there a limitation on how many guests can attend graduation? | No. There is not a limitation on how many guests can attend at this time. |
| Do you need to purchase tickets for your guests who attend graduation? | No. You do not need to purchase tickets for guests to attend. |
| Will graduation programs be available for guests? | We will provide two formally printed graduation programs for each graduate prior to the graduation ceremony. They will be provided to graduates at rehearsal. During the ceremony, we will have a QR Code posted so guests can access a program using their smartphone. |
| Will there be a place to store personal items for graduates? | No. There will not be a supervised location for graduates to keep personal items. Graduates should plan accordingly and give their keys/cell phones/bags, etc. to their guests. |
| What is the dress code for graduates? | Graduates should be dressed in “business casual” attire. Please do NOT wear jeans, t-shirts, athletic shoes, hiking boots or any other inappropriate attire. |
| Can graduates decorate their caps? | No. Graduates will not be allowed to decorate the top of their caps for graduation. |
| Can graduates wear items not provided by FRHS during the graduation ceremony? | Please contact Brad Nye, bnye@psdschools.org, to discuss specific items. |
| What do graduates/guests do if they have misplaced an item after the ceremony? | All lost/left over items will be collected by the PSD Custodial Dept. and kept in a lost and found area at the district. Please contact 970-488-3333 to learn more if you are missing an item after graduation. (Items will not be stored at FRHS.) |
| I haven’t ordered my cap and gown yet. What do I do? | You can order caps & gowns at Jostens.com. Reach out to them at 970-223-7119 if you have any questions. |
| Are there any important graduation meetings for the Class of 2027 that students/parents need to be aware of? | Class of 2027 graduates and parents are invited to join us at FRHS on Monday, April 12, 2027, at 6:00 p.m. in the large gym. |
| Silver Honor Cords | All graduates that earn a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher will automatically receive a silver honor cord. It will be included with their cap and gown on April 12th. |
| Where do graduates get their other honor cords/stoles/medallions/etc. from? | If a graduate is receiving an honor cord/stole/etc. they need to contact the sponsor of the honor society, they belong to directly. All graduates will receive a medallion at the graduation ceremony. |
| How long will the FRHS graduation ceremony last? | The FRHS graduation ceremony will last 1.5 - 2 hours total. |
| Who will hand me my diploma at the graduation ceremony? | Every graduate gets to choose a current FRHS staff member to receive their diploma from on stage at graduation! The FRHS staff member can be a teacher, counselor, secretary, custodian, administrator, etc., so long as they are a current staff member at FRHS. “Participation Contract & Diploma Conferred” will be available in the College & Career Center in the spring. |
