What is Concurrent Enrollment?

Concurrent Enrollment programs allow qualified high school students grades 9th-12th to enroll in FRCC college classes for both high school and college credit for free. Tuition, textbooks, and student fees are paid by the school district or charter school and the student’s stipend College Opportunity Fund. Students must earn a C or better to receive college credits.

High School Select-classes taught at your high school

Students take FRCC courses at their high school for both high school and college credit. Classes are taught by FRCC-approved high school instructors or FRCC instructors who travel to the high school. All costs are paid for by the district and student Colorado Opportunity Fund stipend. 

How to opt in to earn college credit forms and directions. All steps must be completed to enroll for college credits.  Once a PSD Concurrent Enrollment form has been completed by student and parent, the student is automatically enrolled in all Concurrent Enrollment classes for the year for college credits. PSD Concurrent Enrollment form needs to be completed yearly. Note: (Campus Select classes need to complete a PSD CE form each semester). Students must earn a C or better to earn college credits.

Quarter 3 - PSD agreement form due January 19, 2024

First day of class - January 9th

Last day to drop - January 30th

Last day to withdraw - February 26th

Last day of class - March 8th

Semester 2 - PSD agreement form due- January 19, 2024

First day of class – January 9th

Last day to drop – February 17th

Last day to withdraw – April 11th

Last day of class -May 6th

Quarter 4 - PSD Agreement form due – March 25, 2024

First day of class -March 18th

Last day to drop -April 1st

Last day to withdraw -April 26th

Last day of class -May 6th  

Campus Select-classes taught at the college campus

Students take college courses on the FRCC or Aims Community College campus for both high school and college credit. Tuition, textbooks, and student fees are covered by the school district, but students may be responsible for the cost of consumables (shirts, shoes, etc).

Fall class search opens: 3/04/2024

Fall registration opens for all students: 3/20/2024

Fall registration opens for students with 1-29 college credits : 3/14/2024

Fall registration opens for students with 30+ credits: 3/11/2024
