How do you know if you need to request approval for a field trip and fill out paperwork? Great question! ANYTIME you are taking students off campus (YES, even if you are just walking to Harbingers!). Important Information
- If students are required to pay a FEE to participate in your field trip, please consult with Amy Spencer BEFORE you submit paperwork for field trip approval.
- If you need to reserve a white/yellow BUS for transportation to/from your field trip, please complete the “Bus Request Form”, fill it out and email it to Amy Slevin. Put “Bus Request” in the subject line of your email so Amy is aware.
- If you are planning a one day or less field trip, please use the “One Day or Less Field Trip Request Process”.
- If you are planning an overnight field trip, please use the “Overnight Field Trip Request Process”.
- Remember, YOU are not approved to sign any agreements/contracts/etc. Please complete a request using ServiceNow.
New Supervision Requirements (January 2026)
- At least two adult chaperones must attend every field trip, regardless of the number of student participants.
- There is no requirement to have a male and female chaperone if both male and female students are participating.
